A founder and product-focused executive, Iain’s passion is making the complex more intuitive. He has spent nearly a decade in financial services seeking to challenge the status quo in asset management with Aberdeen Standard Investments. He led acquisitions focused on getting closer to the end customer through thematic investing, ESG and private markets totalling over $50bn (ETF Securities, Nu Paradigm, Bon Accord, Arden, FLAG, Artio). Iain ultimately realised the power to truly get close to the customer lay in technology, transitioning from M&A to HTML, learning web development through the University of Pennsylvania’s coding bootcamp. At night, he built prototypes for ideas he had to better align investors with their wealth, one of which is now Positivly.

He co-founded Positivly in 2019 harnessing positive psychology science to better match investors to products and advice, using a Financial Personality Test. Co-founding the venture with Vinay Nair, he joined TIFIN as a partner in 2020, focusing on product.
