Mike has a bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering from Washington University in St Louis. After graduating, he spent several years in Economic Consulting at Analysis Group before moving into startups. He worked as a Machine Learning Engineer and progressed into a managing role at digital coupon startup Ibotta in Denver. He then led Machine Learning at a small Conversational AI Startup, Valyant AI, which automated the order-taking process for fast food restaurants.

In May 2021, Mike joined TIFIN and now serves as Head of Algorithms, building intelligence packages for the Investment Management and Wealth Management industries. He has also led several conversational AI initiatives across the firm. Outside of the office, Mike is a passionate rock climber, husband, and dog dad.
