Monica Lang

Chief of Staff, TIFIN

Monica Lang is the chief of staff at TIFIN. In this role, she supports the founder and CEO on strategy development, priority setting, and project management for TIFIN and TIFIN Studios II projects and initiatives. She is passionate about aligning strategy and operations to organizational values and ensuring practices are efficient, effective, equitable, inclusive, transparent, and responsive to best meet business needs.

Prior to joining TIFIN, Monica was director of business operations at Crestone Capital, working with the COO to manage and drive forward key strategic operational initiatives across the firm. Before her role at Crestone, she was the special assistant to the CEO and civic engagements at Guild Education, founded to bridge the gap between education and employment for the 88 million working adults in need of upskilling for the future of work in the U.S. Before Guild Education, she was chief of staff at Zayo Group, leading the company’s efforts around community engagement, diversity and inclusion, university recruitment, business intelligence, and executive engagement, and prior to Zayo, Monica served as the senior advisor to Michael B. Hancock, mayor of Denver.

Monica attended Central Washington University in Ellensburg, Washington.

Apart from TIFIN, Monica is an alumni of the Boulder Chamber of Commerce, the Denver Metro Chamber of Commerce, and the Downtown Denver Partnership. She finished the 2002 Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation Denver Race for Cure as one of the top 5 women finalists, with a personal record for a 5K.
