Rob Pettman is the President at TIFIN, where he brings more than 20 years of leadership experience across wealth management, investment platforms, and financial technology.

Prior to joining TIFIN, Rob served as Executive Vice President of Wealth Management Solutions at LPL Financial. In this role, he oversaw LPL’s investment product distribution, retirement business, advisory platforms, and research organization, managing over $70B in AUM. During his 19-year tenure, he helped lead LPL through its rapid growth to $1.4T in assets and more than 22,000 advisors.

Rob began his career as a financial advisor focused on settlement planning and structured trusts, an experience that shaped his deep appreciation for the advisor-client relationship.

He has held board positions with IRI, MMI, and Macquarie’s Optimum Funds, and served on advisory boards for fintech and private equity firms.

Rob holds a Bachelor of Arts from Eckerd College and an MBA from the University of Southern California’s Marshall School of Business.
