Stacy Carter joins TIFIN as Chief Operating Officer after 5 years as Chief Legal Officer and SVP of Business Affairs at Boulder-based venture capital and start-up accelerator company, Techstars. Prior to joining Techstars, Stacy served as General Counsel and Head of People at Sphero, a participant in the 2014 Disney Accelerator program that developed a portfolio of educational, app-connected robotic toys.

Stacy attended the University of Virginia and started her career as a Tax Accountant at KPMG before graduating from the University of Colorado Law School. She worked for a law firm before joining Rally Software as Associate General Counsel and seeing Rally through the acquisition by CA Technologies, where she stayed on before joining Sphero.

As COO at TIFIN, Stacy will leverage her combined experience to oversee Finance, Legal, and People operations at the TIFIN level, acting as a shared resource across all of our divisions.
