Uttung Desai is the Chief Operating Officer of TIFIN India and General Manager at RM. He brings over 15 years of experience across FinTech and alternative asset management, with a focus on research, trading, and platform development. At TIFIN, he also serves as Country Manager for India, leading local operations and product development across subsidiaries.

Prior to TIFIN, Uttung held multiple leadership roles at Edelweiss Financial Services. He co-headed the global Market Neutral trading desk, overseeing platform development and research, and led the Special Situations trading team within Edelweiss’ hedge fund. Earlier in his career, he was a Principal at Ada Investments, a quantitative market neutral hedge fund, where he worked on portfolio management and strategy research.

Uttung holds an MBA in Finance and Strategy from the Indian School of Business and is a CFA Charterholder.
