Uttung has over 15 years of experience working at FinTech firms and in the Alternate Asset Management industry, where he has led teams focusing on research, trading, and platform development. At TIFIN he serves as the Country Manager for India leading local operations and product development for the TIFIN subsidiaries.

Before TIFIN, Uttung worked at Edelweiss Financial Services, where he held multiple positions over the years. He developed and co-headed the global Market Neutral trading desk, leading the platform development and research teams. He also led the Special Situations trading team, which was part of Edelweiss’ hedge fund. Earlier in his career, Uttung was a Principal at Ada Investments, a Quantitative Market Neutral hedge fund, where he worked on portfolio management and strategy research.

Uttung holds an MBA in Finance and Strategy from the Indian School of Business and is a CFA Charterholder.
